I am SO tired of people who start stuff that’s not fully true and then scare others into passing along their “info” full of half truths.
Case in point, I just got this email:
Now you know “the rest of the story”… Unfortunately the damage has been done.
This is unbelievable
Be sure and watch this video which was not allowed in America .
This video shows that George Bush tried to warn Congress in 2002 that this economic crisis was coming, if something was not done. But congress refused to listen, along with Barney Franks. This video says it all.
Also that the liberal AMERICAN media did not want this video on You Tube, so they had Time Warner threaten a law suit (proprietary rights) if it was not taken off.
This link is of the same video but is routed through Canada . Everyone in America needs to see this!
Sometimes not even I can understand Elijah!
Last night when Steve got home, he was in the basement starting a fire and I was laying on the couch having just recently woke up from a very late nap (I am SO tired these last couple of days). I asked Elijah to please go and ask Steve: “do you have clothes for tomorrow?” In other words, are all your work clothes clean?
A minute later, Elijah came back and said to me, “if the wind’s on the wetter!”
I had him repeat it 3 times before I finally said, “ask Daddy, ‘what’!?” It wasn’t until Steve came back up that I found out Elijah was trying to say, “Depends on the weather,” because, apparently, for me, he asked Steve IF he was going to work the next day. lol
I guess I never realized how much taking a meal to someone could really be helpful and make them feel loved. But, boy, with being on bed rest last week… the food has been rolling in!
The first was a home made pizza from Erin (which was awesome) and the rest has all come from people who go to our church. In the last week we’ve had chili, chicken & dumplings, rotisserie chicken, corn casserole, two large salads, mostcacolli, BBQ beef, a very large Po-boy’s sandwich, mashed potatoes, chicken casserole, home made mac & cheese, sloppy Joe’s, chicken cordon bleu, home made bread, cole slaw, potato salad, zucchini bread, numerous desserts, and even things like two bags of chips and one of my friends brought Elijah some fruit snacks and a DVD. Steve never even got around to going grocery shopping this week!
please ignore the mess, I’m working on it…
Okay, I think I’m mostly done, what do you think???
So the last I had any blood was Wednesday morning until today about an hour before my doctor’s appointment. So I went in there quite upset. But the doctor found the heartbeat again and said it is just right. He did an exam and said that was fine, too. I’m on rest again all weekend and such and have to go back in on Tuesday to see him.
This morning though, after getting out of the shower I know I for sure felt the baby moving and I saw my stomach jumping around. So that’s very reassuring, too! I’ve felt it before today but wasn’t sure if that’s what it was, it’s been so long since I was pregnant with Elijah that I forgot what it felt like, I guess. And today since then, I’ve felt it, again.
In other news, a bird got into the house tonight. A friend brought some food over and as she was coming in, the bird who lives on top of our porch light took that opportunity to come on in, too. So we’re all squealing and such and Elijah is freaking out and the dog is like “ooooh lemme at em!” The bird ended up upstairs and my friend had to leave but Sarah was in pursuit and finally caught him with the net in the dark in my closet. Cute little red finch, very pretty bird. I carried him outside under the net, perched on Steve’s sweatshirt, and he eventually flew over to the garage. I hated returning him to the sub zero temperatures out there but I have nowhere to put him in here!!
And now we three sit here finishing up Horton Hears a Who and, yah, man, what’s the kangaroo’s problem? lol
