Classy

I’m in class as I speak. I am bored senseless.
What are we doing right now? Headings one and two and three and copyright symbols and superscripts and images and horizontal lines and some ordered lists.
Everyone’s working on theirs - yeah it’s a quiz. I’m already finished and have been for quite some time now. They think I’m typing the paragraph.

I’m going to be kicking myself for the remainder of this semester, I should have tested out of Intro to Web Development. Shoulda, shoulda, shoulda. I could test out now, but then the only thing I could take is Intro to Visual Basic, since they cancelled Advanced Web Devel.

Please, someone come save me from this before I totally pass out!!!

Working Title

The director for our video production is getting quite antsy. He says he’s impressed, that I’ve learned so well, and that I am almost ready to be on my own. I got to do nearly all of the editing yesterday, including the closing, except for the opening. To me, it’s just a matter of doing things precisely and remembering which key/button/joystick/machine does what.
I got out of there relatively quickly, considering that I did most of the stuff this time.

Steve had gotten called on the cell phone while waiting for me and so we went over to K & A’s for a late lunch. Continue reading ‘Working Title’

Ned Kelly

On Saturday, I had the girls over for a back-to-school thing, a movie night. It was okay I guess. It was good to see S, but A, the one who really looks forward to these things, never showed up, and blah blah blah.
The best part was when Sheila and I watched Ned Kelly…

This is my first blending image, so get off my back. Yes, it is so small you can't see the other effects. Yes, I shrank it for a reason.

Damn Windows.
I was five seconds from posting this entry and
Internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience…. If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on might be lost…

All for no reason. I swear, I didn’t do anything. I only had saved what was above. And that pisses me off so bad that I don’t feel like trying to figure out everything I said previously, so this is going to be really short.

Basically, the movie is really good, and it’s a true story, and you should check it out.
The movie night itself was okay. It was good to see S but A didn’t make it.
Only Sheila and I watched Ned Kelly because she stayed the night and I wouldn’t turn it on until after Sarah left because it is rated R.

I’m going to be posting a protected post next. If you want to read it, please request the password.

one-time use cameras

Ever wonder what kind of photos people get with those one time use cameras at weddings?

We had them at our wedding. I do not recommend doing this. We still have like 14 of them to develop!! Yes, after 4 years… Kinda a waste of money, especially considering the photos you get back…
Anyway, yesterday whilst cleaning I found three packs of photos that have been rather recently developed but that I have forgotten to scan.
So there is one in there that I’d forgotten I’d developed - a one time use wedding camera!
I am going to post them all in their entirety so you can see how nutty people can be.
Let me just say that I have my guesses but I’m not exactly sure who had this camera…
It’s also funny to see what we all looked like over four years ago!

Oh. My. Gosh.
Networking class was so…. er…. wierd.
I mean, it’s like hard. But it’s not. But it is.

We went over TCP/IP and what that was, and how it fits with Binary, Decimal, Hexidecimal, etc. And we learned those.
The teacher is really good. He’s a good teacher and it seemed that I would be all HUH? And then he’d explain things again and the light switch in my brain would come on and I suddenly got it.
Something in that class though, that’s never ever happened to me before in a class. There are 17 people. Me, another girl, and 15 men. How weird is that? I mean, every every every other class I’ve ever been in has always had the women outnumbering the men! Me and this other girl we sat in the back row together and she - well I don’t think she got it at all. I wonder if she will drop the class. I mean, during introductions she says, “Well I had to choose a major, so I figured I’d try this.” And then he partnered us all up and we were to share our numbers and email addresses and I gave her mine and she tells me she doesn’t have internet. Ooookay… a computer networking/tech major and you don’t have internet? And it looks like I am the only Web Development major in there. Everyone else is either Networking, Computer Tech, or sent for that one class by their work or something.

But I am determined to do this. I know it will be hard, but I WILL get it. I WILL NOT drop this class. I WILL NOT fail. I am smart, I can do this. :!:

What’s funny though is I think I mentioned the woman from my Web Devel class that I helped and she took like 5 pages of notes? Turns out she is in Networking 3 which follows us (it’s not actually a real class, but they do it anyway and he says they are often there from when we leave until midnight… eek). So she’s like da bomb in Networking and we are complete opposites. Kinda funny. Guess I can ask her if I need help and it’s already been a vice versa on that.
