I made this

So the picture to your right… yeah, I made, and ruined that last night in networking class. We had to make cables, our first hands-on dealy-bop, and that was my screwed up attempt. Doesn’t look so bad here, but if you know what you’re doing, you can see the cables are too short on the inside. Then I never got to do anymore because it got too late and my teacher and Steve each did another end of my wire and wouldn’t let me do it. :-P Yeah, we drug Steve in there because it was late, we didn’t leave until 9:50 (class is supposed to get out at 9:10). I have to go back early next week to try again with my wire before class.
I am now unlike any other female I know… carrying copper wire in my purse.
And now I have to take test 3 from home, on the internet because we’re getting behind (I KNEW IT) and this is going to suck, royally, I’m not ready…

Yesterday was SUCH a NICE DAY!! The weather is RIGHT where I want it to stay for ever and ever amen.
Elijah and I went out and spent a good amount of time outside. He discovered the flowers (mums) and leaves and sat at his little picnic table and walked across the patio holding my hands. We picked mums and put them in a basket and then I set him up in the swing with the basket and took some pictures of him studying the flowers. Hope they turn out good, I had to use the ‘cheap’ camera as when I went to load the good one, the batteries were so dead it wouldn’t load the film. That’s what I get for leaving it turned on all night after R and M’s rehearsal last month. He got ticked off when I went to take the basket away so we could go inside, boy, he was mad.

THREE times yesterday Elijah undressed himself. I went in there first thing in the morning and he’d taken off his PJs. This is funny, because that was the first time he’d worn actual PJs since it got warm out. He usually just crashes in his tshirt and sweat pants or something. I got him up, gave him a bath, let him play, let him eat, let him play, then he went down for a bit and ended up with a nap - when he got up, he’d taken off the PJs again. I dressed him and we went outside. When we came back he played for a while then got grumpy so I laid him back down for a bit. When I went in to see him…. he’d taken off one shoe and his t-shirt. My boy is a little stripper! That’s the first time he’s taken off the t-shirt. I wonder how he did it. He wasn’t able to get it off when I let him try before putting him to bed after we got home after class and all. Who knows, he’s a little weasle. Everyone was telling me to - seriously - duct tape his diaper on if he keeps taking it off. I can’t duct tape his shirt and shoes on!!!

Tonight the plan is to get in some swim time while Steve’s in class. Michelle’s going to meet me and Sarah in the library around 6. We’ll probably meet C too, although I haven’t talked to her for sure about it yet…
