hmmm… what?
Yay! I did it!!
I couldn’t get it last night and so I stopped and walked off with my book for a while and I came back this morning and yippie, I wrote my first Javascript!
So now I’m going to show it to you and let me first say that this is what my homework was, so it’s actually a pretty lame script (heehee). It’s written for a webpage of a restaurant and is meant to show the daily special, dependant on which the day of the week it is. So you’ll only get today’s special, but if you come back tomorrow, you’ll get another one. ;-)
I also stripped all the css and other unneccessary html from the file….
HERE [removed, was a Javascript that showed you a today's special for a diner based on what day it was]
You can view source to see the rest of the code if you like. :-D
I’ve decided to wait for the second part of the homework since I realized it’s not due until next week and it’s much more involved. I’m sure we haven’t even talked about everything that it encompasses, that’ll be tomorrow night.
But YAY!
I'm Valerie, late 20's, from Missouri. I'm married... with children: a young boy and a baby girl. I enjoy many things including photography, candle making, videography, history, and mythology. Baby Girl was born 11 weeks early after my water was broken for 8 weeks - she's my little miracle - so you're bound to hear a lot about her progress here. I am also a second generation homeschooler, that's bound to come up as well.

Oooh, cool beans! And I’ve reverted to crap lingo I see, oopsy :(. I really need to devote some time to scripting. So envious that so many people can do it nowadays :(. Nice job :).
