Yeah, I just spent another $103.47 I don’t have at candlewic.com.
After much consideration and discussion with Kris and Steve, I decided to go ahead and order another 50lbs of wax along with three more frangrances (macintosh apple, hot buttered rum, and sugar cookie) and three more colors (ruby red, brown, and ivory). These food scents will add to the three flowered we already have (lilac, honeysuckle, and rose carnation), therefor adding to the collection.

All I can say is this had better pan out. I’d better at least make back cost or I’m going to be mad. hehe.
Well I know I won’t get all the money back because the first bunch of these are Christmas presents for extended family and very close friends. :snowflake: (That’s the closest thing I have to a Christmas icon for now, hehe.)

Seriously though, anyone want to buy a candle?

So far, I have 1.5 dozen lilac, 1 dozen rose carnation, and 1 dozen +1 honeysuckle. I still have 6+ jars to fill and will get more this weekend. I have 15lbs of plain wax remaining and plenty of the current scents/colors. Oh and then there’s the one lilac candle I left for Carrie tonight. Of course, I jipped her, purposely giving her one of our not-so-good ones so that she can be my “beta tester.” (Or peon as I told her she was. ;-))

And I tell you what, these things are looking better and better each time I make some more, as I learn more about them – temperature, ratios, etc. :tada:

I am going to be looking into getting some booths at local craft fairs come spring and summer. So we figure that we need to start building up inventory now. The BIG local fair will be expensive, but Kris says that Lynn said she’ll go in with us on one if we want to do that one. She makes ALL sorts of stuff, too (mostly sewing things). AND Steve had a guy at work who’s girlfriend makes these flower arrangements and stuff and they’ve been selling at that fair for a few years now – she clears a couple of thousand each time he says. (Of course those two are the ones who now got busted for the meth, so maybe we can take their spot.)

 Now we need a name, because I’m going to have to come up with some labels and stuff to stick on them. And *sigh* probably a website, too. :muah:
Any ideas?

I need to go figure out how much these things cost me each and set a fair price. :hmm:
And… I’ve talked so much about this stuff that I think these now deserve their own category… to category or not to category?
