Left with an extraordinarily messy house because of Christmas, I was busy all day yesterday and it seemed like I got nothing done.
That is until about 2.30 when a friend/neighbor called me and said that she might need to go to the emergency room and would need me. She was really lightheaded, thought she was going to pass out, and her face was going numb.
So I said okay, and let me get a shower real quick because I’ve been extremely busy today. And she said okay she was going to call her doctor. So I took the quickest shower I’ve ever had in my life. Twenty minutes later and she hadn’t called so I called her and asked what was going on. She didn’t know, the nurses told her to go to the emergency room because there were no doctors available. (What the hell is that about?)
So I ended up getting E up from his nap, throwing some shoes on and getting mine on and leaving. I didn’t even remember to turn off the tv or check the fire or take the dog out. I took her to the hospital and she just wanted me to drop her off and then go sit with her kids (15 and 10 or 11) and her nephew (10).
So we did that and waited for her call.
They finally got her in and then she was finally able to come back around 6pm, I guess it was. Turned out, her blood pressure had taken a dive and was extremely too low. That is really stupid too because she’s already on blood pressure medicine. They said it was caused by hear heart problems. :eek:
So she is supposed to go see the doctor soon and it may be today and I may be over there again.
While I was over there, the girl put on ah… crap… what’s it called…? You know, the Disney movie with Anne Hathaway, the second one… oh The Princess Diaries II. It wasn’t half bad. I remember when the first one came out and I said, “oh that’s going to suck.” But I guess now I’ll have to go watch it since I’ve only seen the last 5 minutes. But the girl I was watching, those are some of her favorite movies, so we watched it. Even E would watch the parts with the music.
Anyway, I hope my friend is okay soon, she’s had a lot of problems and it really sucks. If it’s not her heart or blood pressure, it’s her back and spine. Sucks sucks sucks.

COOL! You posted my gift…*grins* But on everything else, not cool. I hope that your friend turns out okay. Your heart is really not something that should be messed around with - and my question is, why were there no doctors in the emergency room?!?!
Hey, thanks everyone - I just got word that they think that her insulin was too low, therefore making her blood pressure too low as well. So she’s got some new medicine that hopefully will do the trick.
