Christmas Eve’s Eve

It is almost Christmas in my time zone, only 31 minutes to go. But before my Merry Christmas post goes out, I’ll talk a bit about Christmas Eve’s Eve, the 23rd.

I met with Carrie for lunch and we had a good one at Ryan’s and I dropped her back at her car and went to St. Louis… refer to previous post.
I picked up our photos we had taken two weekends ago… I guess I will post them… Especially because of what I will tell you next. But I warn you, both S and I freaking suck in them. E is the only cute one, so he is the only one you can see in a higher resolution. :-D

Then… I had my hair cut.
It’s gone. And I didn’t cry, either.
The coolest part about it though is that they were able to get enough to give to Locks of Love! If you don’t know what that is, basically they make wigs out of real, donated hair for kids with cancer. They braided my hair and cut the 10 inches that is minimum and the stylist said, “Oh, yeah, this is going to make some kid really happy.” :-D
I was so glad to be able to do that even if it was an afterthought on my part, a last minute, “oh do you think I have enough for…?” But it’s just totally cool to me, I have a lways wanted to do that.

So now my hair is about an inch an a half below my ears at the longest part (in front). I will have photos probably when I get the ones from yesterday and today developed. It’s cute, but I am thinking now that I might want to have it layered though which sucks because that haircut yesterday ended up costing me almost $40. :-|
But I like it and I never get “professional” cuts, so… But my family was like, “whoa!” when I walked in.

87.5 candles in my living room

I’m waiting for some wax to melt so I can make that 93.5 candles in my living room. It snowed today, so at least they won’t be melting any time soon.

I have:
12 Lilac (6 on the way), 9 Rose Carnation, 9 Honeysuckle, 17 Apple, 12 Cappuccino, 12 Sage, and 11 Blueberry. Those are all sellable. That does not count the five that are not: 2 Lilac (early ones), the LRCH combo, and 2 Rose Carnation (look nice but aren’t scented right). Then there is a 1/2 Rose Carnation, it’s in a half-pint sized jar. :-D
