hmmm… what?

I am so bad!

Ebay becomes an ego trip for me. If I bid on something and someone keeps outbidding me it becomes a little ego war. I can’t help it. How dare they outbid me!!!

Steve wanted to bid on this vintage Playskool tool bench for E. I’ve bid three times because it keeps going up. I am up past what I have to pay for it. :P

I am going to bed now, tomorrow morning I will come back only to find out I’ve been outbid again, I’m sure. And by then, it’s too late. :P

Or, you could come back and find you won!!

Course, think that would cause another minor problem….Hrmmmm..the things we do for toys..

*hides his Transformer collection, and his Godzilla collection. And can’t forget about his Voltron’s either, hides them as well*

Yeah, good thing we don’t all have an obsession with collecting old toys that are just *best Tony the tiger Voice here* Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaareat!

I used to have one of those tool benches! I think that the bench died before the tools did, which is pretty odd. E will love pounding on the thing, I’m sure. I did. :)

You might like to check out the eBay proxy bidding info, which might keep you from paying more than you want to pay: http://pages.ebay.com/help/buy/proxy-bidding.html

    Hehe I did win! :P
I ended up getting it for $32 before shipping. My highest bid was $35 and I wasn’t going higher than that. Originally I put in $20 and it was already outbid so I put in… $25 or $30 and someone outbid me a couple minutes later. So I put in $35.

I know about the proxy, that’s default bidding, right? I like it but sometimes I throw in a smaller bid to see just how interested other people are. And a lot of times I think, oh I’ll only pay as much as $30 for that but when it goes over that I think, naw, maybe $40. So sometimes I do bid a few times. ;-)

So then I went into PayPal and clicked “pay” before I realized it was set-up to deduct from my checking account and I was supposed to change that to credit card because we don’t ever have much in the checking, just enough for bills! So I pressed stop right away and changed it but it said I’d already paid. Sheesh, it’s that instant. So luckily I was able to go into my bank website and fix it. :)

Toys, yes, though…. the reason my credit card started getting so high was because this time last year I was hooked on Ebay buying all sorts of 8 bit Nintendo games that I played as a kid plus some. I  8 bit games! :) I suck at games that are in 3D, so…

Oh and the tool chest - I don’t think I had one when I was little, but someone in my family did. My sister and littlest brother maybe. My other brother (the one right younger than me) had this little toolset though that was neat - but it was for older kids, real tools. It folded up in a little wood box and everything. He used that for years. :)

Toys besides E’s and my NES around here mostly include Steve’s little motocycle models and some hotwheels or something. Stuff that ends up getting packed away because we don’t have room for it or gets adopted by E as he gets older.
