		<description>Never heard of &lt;a href="http://www.answers.com/topic/mass-marketing" rel="nofollow"&gt;engineered obsolescence&lt;/a&gt;?  It's very common in kid's products, especially since the makers of such goods usually have a monopoly on the iconography (in this case, Dora) they're selling, meaning that nobody else can produce a better product that would force them to improve theirs.</description>
