Bloomington

Bloomington, Indiana is certainly in a class of its own. It’s not a bad town by any means. But we’ve had a bit of a crazy day today.

First of all, Indiana University is stinking huge. The campus is just enormous. I should be buff by all the stairs I walked today. But it is also gorgeous. We took lots of photos today, both with his camera and mine.

we have arrived

We’re in Bloomington, Indiana now. Left where I met my brother at 6pm our time, arrived in our room at 1am Indiana time, so it was a six hour drive. Rather uneventful and hardly any traffic at all. Anytime I’ve left on a trip like this I’ve always left in the early morning, so this was a change for me.

So far I’ve learned a bit of things about my brother I didn’t know before, for one, he’s a litter bug. :-)

Well, off to bed then, g’night! (Besides, this wireless connection in the hotel is REALLY flaky… I’ll be lucky if this post goes through.)

Didja Ever?

Have you ever seen a two-year-old and a dog war over a chocolate chip cookie?

It always manages to happen in that split second I look away. I hear a scream, the dog runs by, and the kid chases him. When the dog gets to his bed, he starts eating the cookie. The kid smacks him and tries to take the cookie back. I’ve even seen a tug-o-war over a granola bar.

Unfortunately, five minutes ago, the dog stole the very last chocolate chip cookie.

*sigh*

7th Heaven

I’m watching 7th Heaven now only because I’m too lazy to get up and get the remote (that is incidentally right next to the television) to change the channel.

Boy, has this show gone downhill… I still hate Lucy’s character… yuck.

So, does this make me a bad mother?

Sometimes when I’m cleaning up the living room, I am rough and just throw his toys into the furthest corner of his room because deep down I want them to break so I can have a good excuse to throw them away.

Just pure craziness

Is it completely crazy that I can’t remember much of anything about Friday? All I remember is that Elijah and I went grocery shopping. Wow, that must have been some fun day.

Oh, wait, that was the night we got the pay-per-view movie. Oh, it’s all coming back to me now…

Saturday sucked though. It started out normal enough except for the fact that Steve was working.
