People who have never been here assume I live out in the middle of nowhere. And, well, when compared to New York city or LA or even St. Louis… yeah, I do. :) People comment that I’m always driving somewhere… I am! I always say we’re within a half an hour of everything. So…
This is what our highways (not interstates) look like:
This is what most of our roads look like:
And a lot of them even look like this!
Gobble, gobble, gobble!!!

Ahh, looks like home ;) I’m about two hours from anywhere real big. I really am in the middle of nowhere!
After it!! *chases after Turkey with an axe* My freezer’s waiting!! Mwahaha. Kidding. Justin says “screw the axe, get a gun.”
Country gal!! :) You’re adorable.
Those pictures are mini flashbacks to what it was like for me a few years ago the last time I was in Jamestown, NY at the family farm… It’s not the ordinary but that’s what makes it beautiful, when you do see it..
OMG! Turkey! *runs after it with a deli bag* Get in the bag, Turkey! I want to sell you to the deli.
*cough* You live in BFE, Valerie! *pets the many stores across the street from my house* How I love you, city of mine. You treat me well. And you put malls down the street from me.
Oh my god! PICTURES! I love pictures hehe.
It doesn’t really look like the middle of nowhere. It just looks like this area about 40 minutes away from where I live.
It looks reeaaally peaceful though :)
Don’t let the pictures decieve you…just the other day I was on the highway (1st pic) and was in a traffic jam. Yeap!
There was a tracker moving about 12 miles an hour. We were poking along and was unable to pass. It wasn’t long and there was traffic backed up with five of cars poking along behind that darn tracker. Geeze…I mean, I was really getting stressed. I hear tell that city folks have worse problems, but I just can’t see how! :P
cool pictures val 8)
