So for Christmas my littlest brother got us the Scarface DVD and I’m just now getting around to watching it. Surprisingly, even with it being on tv what seems like all the time, I’ve never seen anything other than the last five minutes or so.
I’m not even a half an hour into this three hour movie and already I’m like…. whoa. Ew. I can’t believe they actually sawed off the one dude’s arm and leg in their bathtub, I can’t believe he died already. :(
I also can’t believe how much Spanish is in here and they didn’t care enough to put up English subtitles. What is up with that? How rude. I keep going to freetranslation.com with the words that come up on the regular subtitles, but I just can’t keep up with it. And half the time, the word doesn’t translate. Although, I have figured out what coño is, lol. (And quite frankly, they say it too often, both English and Spanish! :P)
Reason #452341 Val needs to learn Spanish.
Now, for some reason I thought this was a true story? Apparently not, after some looking around online??
Ugh, my head hurts. :|

I’ve seen maybe 10 minutes of Scarface total. I doubt the amount of Spanish I know would help me with it. I keep meaning to rent it sometime … I guess I am going to have to.
