hmmm… what?
So I’m watching Signs, for maybe the thousandth time. Okay, so really maybe only the third. I love this movie. M. Night Shyamalan is the master… well, only second to Alfred Hitchcock anyway. I love this movie, and The Village, and The Sixth Sense. I remember liking Unbreakable, but I don’t remember much about it. I have not seen any of his other movies. But I tell you what, this movie (and The Village) always keeps me on edge, even when I know what’s about to happen. And Joaquin Pheonix? Looooove Joaquin Pheonix. And Mel Gibson.
Okay, just thought you all would want to know that. :P
EDIT – I forgot – Steve hates this movie, LOL. And I’m totally subjecting him to it. He cannot stand this kind of suspense and always asks allllllll kinds of questions, especially if he knows I’ve already seen the movie. It’s sooooo annoying, haha. He doesn’t like The Village either, but he says The Sixth Sense wasn’t bad. He’s funny like that though, he doesn’t “do” horror or non-realistic, non-war suspense. :P

Tyler and I went to see Signs in the theater when it first came out. Just half an hour afterwards we headed out to a party … in a corn field. It was interesting.
That said, I love that movie. I love me some Joaquin as well :)

M. Night appears in all his movies just like Hitchcock did. Stephen King also gets in the movies made from his books–I doubt if it’s EVERY one, but keep an eye out for him, too!

The Village wasn’t suspenseful to me at all. We saw it in theatres and I leaned over and whispered the ending into Jason’s ear about 5 minutes in. He was so annoyed at me!

He has a new movie coming out in July, Lady in the Water. I saw the preview yesterday, it looks like a very interesting Fantasy film. The only movies I’ve seen by him were Unbreakable, Signs, and The Sixth Sense. If you want to count Stewart Little in that…he co-wrote that which I didn’t know about until yesterday!

I haven’t seen Signs or The Village, I guess I never got around to watching them. I should rent them sometime, since you think so highly of them. ;)

Never seen Signs, but I liked the Village.
Hey thanks for you WordPress help. I got everything started but my kids are on holiday this week so if I do start anything it won’t be for a while.

Signs gave me nightmares for months. It’s the part at the party in Brazil where it walks past the doorway, i could just imagine that happening in every doorway in my house when i was alone.
