hmmm… what?
So, life’s been fun. My legs are covered in “boo-boo’s” and last night I cut my left pinky finger with a butter knife. It bled, and bled, and bled, and bled. I think it’s pretty bloody deep.
However, through it all, I somehow managed to actually go roller skating on Friday for the first time in about 7 or 8 years. It was a spur of the moment thing and I took Sarah and Elijah to the homeschool skate day. Nice choice of time for Elijah’s first time skating as it meant that the rink was mostly clear for him. Of course, he loved it and seems to get along better than me or Sarah. Except for those white moving lights – it was strange, when he’d see those, he’d kinda stop and stare at them for a second then he’d start to cry and take off out of the rink for a bit. Of course, he also fell down a lot… on purpose. Every time this kid in the orange shirt would come by, Elijah would fall down and fake for some attention. Such as in this video, he was already on the ground when I started:
[removed, sorry]
In case you’re wondering what he’s yelling, it’s “Sarah, c’mere!” In other words, “Sarah, come here.” Sarah can be seen at some point in the upper left of the video.
Ever since that day, every time we’re somewhere that’s not at home, Elijah’s been saying to me, “Go skatenim?” :-)
I'm Valerie, late 20's, from Missouri. I'm married... with children: a young boy and a baby girl. I enjoy many things including photography, candle making, videography, history, and mythology. Baby Girl was born 11 weeks early after my water was broken for 8 weeks - she's my little miracle - so you're bound to hear a lot about her progress here. I am also a second generation homeschooler, that's bound to come up as well.

Heh, that’s cute! Looks like he’s still getting the forward motion down, he’s got the move-your-feet step nailed. :)
