Anyway, psycho weekend. What else is new?
Friday we had a lovely dinner with my sister-in-law Morgan and my sweet little niece followed by an evening at our house with them and my parents.
Saturday we went out with fellow Flickrites Todd and Sharon for lunch and a walk around historic St. Charles, Missouri. I’ve met them twice before, so it was really nice for Steve to finally get to meet them. We had a grand ole time. :)
After leaving them we took a walk around the Bass Pro Shop and then uhhhh…

Monday was spent in the usual Monday-way with Study and then my friend L and I took our boys to a local park with some lunch. Of course, the boys were just causing all sorts of trouble and none of them wanted to behave too well.
After a while, we headed back to our respective homes and I had to get started on a lot of work that I’m behind in. Websites among other things. I’m currently juggling four besides the usual. One’s not quite started but I have lots of pre-work to do, one’s almost “finished,” one is really just a distraction, and the other is… messed up. :P I’m just so busy I am nearly constantly overwhelmed. But at least I’ll get paid, even if not much, for three of those. However, I don’t think I’ve been this busy with this many projects at one time since college… have I?
Anyway, back to my friend, next week she’ll be coming down here. It’s been a while since she’s been here since I’m not one to invite people over when we’re in the middle of a main room make-over. But she will be coming down and I’ve invited another woman who has a boy about the same age. I hope she comes, but I told her not to feel obligated — one thing of living here is that we’re 30 miles or so from “everyone else” we’re friends with and sometimes that can get in the way. Usually people don’t have a problem making the drive, but I sometimes hesitate to ask them to do so. But it’s amazing what a “new” room in a house can do - how it can change my overall outlook on the house and just makes being here a much more pleasant experience.
In closing? I started this post like 3 hours ago and got distracted with that distraction and many others “offline,” now I forget what I wanted to say. :P

http://vox.com - yet another blogging service, lol. I signed up when it was in Beta so I just kinda hang onto it. The daily Vox hunt things are kinda interesting. I’ll mail you both the address, some stuff is viewable without having an account.
And lol, Amanda, yeah I wondered how many people would actually get that. But every time I hear those two words, I think of that lol. And two minutes? Pretty good attention span in my opinion since I’m surrounded by people - including myself and the dog - who have only about three second attention spans!
