hmmm… what?

Bye, Miss Rosie O’Donnell!

She was one of the reasons I had to quit watching The View altogether, but now she’s gone. Yay!

I swear, that woman has one of the biggest mouths I’ve ever seen. Not that a big mouth is always bad, but when it’s coupled with idiocy and moronic ideas and thoughts… watch out!

Well anyway, good riddance. It’s about time, really.

    Whoa, love the new look.

Well, I don’t understand how Rosie contributed to “one of the most successful years ever.” Because I tuned in every once and a while…but never saw her once. Glad someone else feels the same way about her! :D

I think they only kept her to get the publicity.

i liked the old format of The View better too. Poor elizabeth hasselback.

Well, I’ve never once watched The View, I am WAY too manly for that. But, I really can’t stand her, so I guess I am glad she is gone. I hope that means her name will stop being in the news, which is where I really got sick of hearing about her.

Rosie WAS the View. She spoke for so many, and this is a sad week on TV. I can’t wait until she comes back on her own terms!

  7.

If Rosie WAS The View, what was The View before Rosie was on it?

    Good point Christopher. :)

@ Sammy - sorry but I also speak for many, especially when I say Rosie needs to go far far away. I used to be a fan, it’s sad really.

But she won’t be back on The View, she was leaving in June anyway…

Just curious Val- you said you used to be a fan. What made you change your mind about her? I love how honest and passionate she is about the war, Katrina victims, etc. I know she is loud, but she speaks for the victims many seem to forget.

I have been an “out” gay member of society for over twenty years. I’m tired of opinionated butch lesbians with bad hair cuts speaking for the gay community as a whole. This is not necessarily what we have as our views and for God’s sake, don’t take anything Rosie has to say as a legitimate view of American gay society. She’s completely out of touch with the gay world. She is just one of a number of “rich” celebrities that thinks their weatlth and fame gives them a bully pulpit. Go home, Rosie. For once in your life shut your mouth. You spew as much hatred toward the other side as they spew at us and two wrongs never ever make a right. Shut up Rosie. The only people who want to hear it are the tabloids and that’s all about making money. Plus, to do this as Gay pride celebrations are about to take place all over the nations is irreprehensible. Shut Up you dumb opinionated loser.

Well, Sammy, I think David has hit on it a bit already. Simply put, I think she’s a hypocrite. She tries to be a mouthpiece. She cries for tolerance and justice and all that jazz, yet turns around to the groups that don’t agree with her and tears them into little pieces. And like David said, two wrongs never make a right.

No matter which way you lean on Issue A or Issue B, etc., you should always respect the other side and she just plain doesn’t do that. Need I bring up last September I think it was, when she basically said that all Christians are mass murderers? Of course that’s not true and it’s just one among the many. But it’s just plain hypocrisy: how can one demand tolerance, love, understanding, and acceptance of one group while ostracizing another?

I guess I’m just tired of rich pampered people who think they know what they’re talking about but really have no idea about how the real world operates and I have been tuning them all out over time.
