Still working on that video…

I don’t think my blood pressure has been this high since I was having a baby… I am so nervous and stressed out right now. Let me tell you why.

I’ve been working on that Veteran’s video again for the umpteenth time. I’ve been here for nearly five hours again. I guess my total of work on this is somewhere around 20 hours now.

Where did I leave off with my last randomness?

Saturday 5/19

Saturday we spent the day attending the wedding and reception of two good friends. I have been friends with her for many, many years, since maybe even kindergarten. Steve has known her for about 10 years now and both of us have known the groom for about 6 years. It was wonderful watching their ceremony, especially. From the moment I met him, I just knew they would one day be married, even though for years she introduced him as, “my friend.” But the rest of us… we just knew. :)

This Sucks

American Idol sucks. It’s official. This season sucks. The finale sucks. It all sucks. These two suck. This sucks.

Seriously, this is horrible and we’re only 17 minutes in…

Randomness for 5/18

I got an email yesterday that Google Analytics had “upgraded.” I next to never log in, but I took a look. So far all I’ve seen is the new map feature. Awesome! I love that I can pretty much just zoom in on one person. :) Countries are color-coded as to how many visitors have been to your site and you can click on a continent, and then a country, and then a state or whatever, etc., until you can see how many visitors from each city/area. Pretty sweet. :)

another day, another dollar

I had another computer “job” today. Man, they keep me running. First I had to go to one location 30 miles North of here, then I had to travel about 40 miles South West of there then it was another 35 miles West to home!

The silly thing is, they really don’t need me for most of this stuff. But apparently, I’m the *only* one who knows anything about computers, so I get to come work on theirs. Of course, I’ll take it. ;-)

I was supposed to work on six but ended up with only five since the college kid hadn’t brought his home last weekend. So I was left with fixing two, cleaning two, and setting one up. Not bad. Especially when considering I was able to leave after record time. I guess I’ll get paid this weekend. I’m charging them drive time between the two locations.

Sarah went with me today. Her family was going an hour South and she didn’t want to go, so she asked me last night if she could ride along. I have no problem with that, sometimes I can use some help, hehe, but didn’t need any this time, so she just sat and played The Sims while I worked. :P

Afterwards we hit a few stores including a scrapbooking store where I got some stuff that I plan to use in my upcoming living room decoration. I hope it works out. I can picture it in my mind but don’t know how I’ll be able to make look right. I need a few more supplies though, like some heavier gauge wire than the scrapbooking stores sell. I have to go south for several things later this week.

Um, I forgot what else I wanted to say. Guess I’ll go practice putting in eyelets ;-)

Glorious Weekend

This weekend has been absolutely glorious - the weather that is! The rest of the weekend wasn’t too shabby, either, though I feel like this is the first time I’ve had a chance to breathe since Friday morning, and here it is Sunday night.

Friday was mostly the usual fair preparation day, though it contained that “excitement” from two posts ago. Saturday we had the first official fair of the year. I still haven’t figured out how much money we brought in, which is a good sign, because I don’t feel uneasy about it. Haha. But the weather was so very nice. I got electricity this time, too, so we took our fan which was great at the hottest part of the day. But again, it wasn’t really hot - at least to me - until 5pm came and we started breaking things down.

the Butterflies

I had my first *real* fair of this season today and, boy, am I beat. So I will update on that later. But here’s a photo I just uploaded:

Growing the Butterflies One

A friend ordered us a cup of these caterpillars. When I took this photo yesterday, two had already created their chrysalises (though one fell to the bottom), one was working on it, and the other two were looking for the perfect spot.

I have to already take another photo because just since this morning, the other two have finished theirs already!

I am supposed to now take the lid off and put the little paper thing they are attached to on the side of the butterfly house thingy with a safety pin. Sadly, I don’t have any safety pins. (I know, pyscho.) I shall obtain one tomorrow and get them on there! Then we watch them change!
