So I’m totally anal retentive when it comes to organizing files and photos on my computer and yes, as sad as it is, on Flickr. Every time I think I find a good way to organize my Flickr photos, I change my mind.
How do you organize yours?
just biding my time until I get to go Home

Late last night, I finally sent my first ever official DMCA takedown notice to the host of a website who felt the need to copy, in whole, one of my entries from this site. I had to send this because there was never any way I could contact the website owner. They have no information on their site, not even a form to fill out, and the domain is protected with the information of the host instead. Heck, even though my entry appears in category “search engines,” their “about” page is still the default WordPress filler text. Commenting on a stolen entry gives the error that you must be logged in to comment. So a DMCA was the only route to go.

So Elyse has tagged me once again and is forcing me to use my brain… or attempting to. So here we go…
Rules: Each person posts the rules before their list, then they list 8 things about themselves. At the end of the post, that person tags and links to 8 other people then visits those peoples sites and comments letting them know that they have been tagged, and to come read the post, so they know what they have to do.
1. I have a hard time coming up with lists about myself.
2. I’ve had this saved as a draft for a couple of weeks without adding anything to it because I couldn’t think of anything.
3. I’ve been really tired lately.
4. I’ve not been sleeping well at night for some reason.
5. Just can’t fall asleep then when I do am not allowed to sleep long enough or deep enough for a good sleep.
6. I haven’t been this tired in years.
7. I’m also completely uninspired when it comes to writing lately.
8. Though all of the above, I am still happy in life. So don’t get me wrong. Very happy, just extremely tired lately… hoping I am not getting sick, really…
It’s here! The 24 Hours of Flickr book, and here’s my photo inside it:

I’m so giddy! :)
More on that here.
Yesterday, I got three phone calls that I did not recognize the numbers to and when I answered, no one was there. Or rather, they were there but refused to talk to me. It was as if someone had accidentally dialed me on their cellphone and didn’t know their phone had called out. This used to happen to me all the time with my mom before she had a flip-phone and she’d forget to lock the keypad.
The three calls I had yesterday all had people talking in the background. On one, I heard at least three voices, a man, woman, and a child. The woman, probably the mother, was playing with the child and the child was laughing. I think the man may have been talking to another man, but I’m not sure. But I let that call go on for several minutes until it sounded like the woman and child left the room. The third time, it was two men, talking. I can’t remember what the first was, but the loudest voice then was also a man’s.
The thing is, it has all been from three separate numbers. Two of those are cell phones, the third might be. All three are from local area codes, mine, and the one north.
Weird, huh?
Ugh. I have had this computer exactly 36 hours and already Elijah has almost managed to kill it. I can’t leave him unattended for anything, apparently. I was in the other room - have lots of stuff to do - wasn’t gone that long, he was supposed to be watching TV or playing with his toys. As I approached the living room, he started screaming, so I knew he was into something. I heard my laptop slam shut and when I got in here, he was running from it and jumped on the couch.

My week has been hectic so far, big surprise.
Yesterday, I had to make a service call to fix some wireless internet. Did that as quickly as possible and left, not only did I have my posse with me but my next stop was downtown St. Louis where I had to go to DHL to pickup my laptop. What Dell says is next business day delivery apparently means ground to DHL and so when I saw they were definitely not delivering it on Monday I knew I had to go get it since I would not be home on the day they said it would come, or the other day it might come. And I’ve heard enough horror stories about attempted deliveries and then packages getting lost, so I wasn’t about to take my chances.
However, though I had called first in the morning and they had about seven hours to get the package ready for me, I still had to wait for an hour because they couldn’t find it! I wasn’t the only one, either. Another woman was in there with me for about a third of my time. They had attempted delivery for her twice (she said, they claimed three times) and she arranged Saturday to pick up her package. They couldn’t find hers, either. She had to go home empty handed, too, with only promises that they would find it and deliver it that night. I hope they did - whatever it was, she said it was for a wedding this week.
