Hairspray
Last night I went to see Hairspray with my mom, sister, and sister-in-law. I have not laughed that hard in a long time! Fifteen minutes in, my sister-in-law and I had both already decided we’re gonna buy the DVD when it becomes available! I mean, seriously, is there anything better than John Travolta in a dress? Well, maybe there’s a lot of things better than John Travolta in a dress, but there are few things more entertaining! I laughed the whole time he was on screen, I just couldn’t help it, he’s hilarious. I could not take his character seriously (though I don’t guess you are supposed to or they would have cast an actual woman) and some of the funniest parts were when he was talking just normal dialog because he sounded like Dr. Evil! So in my mind, I’ve got this strange picture of what a child of Mike Meyers and John Travolta would look like.
We were the only four people in the whole theater, as my sister said, “I guess everyone who wants to see this movie has already seen it.” So we were able to just really be loud like we would at home. Making fun of things, comments about this or that, just having an all around good time.
I loved it. :) ♥
Then on the way home, I got a call that my brother-in-law got a deer, his first for bow season. So I was told to get over there with the camera. :P
This morning started off busy and it’s not over yet. I still have a meeting tonight which, in itself is okay, but I have to go back north a half an hour and that part sucks. Tomorrow I go back up there for E to go to school and to work out with a friend while he’s there. Wednesday might be my only day to not waste money on fuel. :P Thursday looks like I’ll be heading way north to where the airport is to meet a certain blog friend who’s got some crazy idea about taking a wild, out of the way, layover flight just to meet me… :) Friday? Who knows!?
