Today is Elijah’s 5th Birthday!

I’m killing time at the moment, waiting for my parents, my in-laws’ and a few of his aunts and uncles to get here. Nothing special, just dinner, cake, and some presents. The kid has never officially had a party before, though. I had ideas for this year but couldn’t work anything out, maybe next year will materialize something more extravagant.

Ah, but it seems like only yesterday…

Boy, he was pretty tiny then!

So, anyway, happy birthday to my little boy… the one who’s laughing at me now, saying, “What, Mommy!?” I can’t wait to see his reaction to that cake! :) It turned out awesome, he’s going to love it!
