hmmm… what?
Sometimes not even I can understand Elijah!
Last night when Steve got home, he was in the basement starting a fire and I was laying on the couch having just recently woke up from a very late nap (I am SO tired these last couple of days). I asked Elijah to please go and ask Steve: “do you have clothes for tomorrow?” In other words, are all your work clothes clean?
A minute later, Elijah came back and said to me, “if the wind’s on the wetter!”
I had him repeat it 3 times before I finally said, “ask Daddy, ‘what’!?” It wasn’t until Steve came back up that I found out Elijah was trying to say, “Depends on the weather,” because, apparently, for me, he asked Steve IF he was going to work the next day. lol
A similar event took place several weeks ago. Elijah came to me, we were getting ready to leave, and he said, “do you got your piss?”
I almost fell over, “WHAT!?”
He repeated the same thing for me 3 times and said that Daddy wanted to know. “Go ask Daddy, ‘what!?’”
Steve came in and said, “what?” I said, “what did you tell him to ask me?”
He said, “I told him to ask you if you have your pistol.”
I shoulda known. :P
I'm Valerie, late 20's, from Missouri. I'm married... with children: a young boy and a baby girl. I enjoy many things including photography, candle making, videography, history, and mythology. Baby Girl was born 11 weeks early after my water was broken for 8 weeks - she's my little miracle - so you're bound to hear a lot about her progress here. I am also a second generation homeschooler, that's bound to come up as well.
