Well in case you haven’t already heard via text, Twitter, or Facebook… we are having a girl!

Had an appointment and ultrasound tonight. Finally. They were canceled last week because of the ice and snow. They also had to check on the placenta which was fine — in fact, she didn’t find anything wrong again. But I kinda wasn’t surprised, I haven’t had any blood in a week or so now. But yay, it all looks good. However, I still have to go in for some blood tests and other things later this week.

The lady told us that she is absolutely sure we have a girl. I asked, lol. Elijah took a second to process the info and then jumped up with his arms in the air and yelled, “yay!!” I’m not sure if I ever wrote it here, but that kid has been adamant the baby was going to be a girl and I was actually worried how he’d handle it if we found out it was a boy. I guess I don’t have to worry about that now!

So, anyway, here’s a pic:

They said she weighs about 5 ounces right now. Man, that’s tiny!
