I’ve been sitting here now for a half an hour trying to select my five and I realize this is a harder decision than I thought, every woman on my blogroll rocks! So I have finally come up with five that I have known the longest, maybe some of these wonderful ladies can pass it along to other mutual friends. :)

LOL. I keep trying to get out of it but now I’ve been tagged by a Bes, two Nicoles and probably some other people, so here goes: 10 strange things about me. Let’s see if I can actually do this… in no particular order.

1. I say, “what the crap?!” …a…lot…

2. I like mayonnaise. I’ve put it on french fries and hot dogs before.

3. I don’t like mustard. I don’t like honey. I like honey mustard.

4. I like cemeteries. They’re not scary, they’re peaceful and beautiful.

5. On the same hand, I am not afraid of death.

6. I have been known to reject foods based on their texture. I don’t like any kind of melon (watermelon, honeydew, cantaloupe), banana, coconut, etc.

7. I make and sell candles, but my favorite scent right now is one that I have to buy from a big brand-name company. (That sucks.)

8. I cannot stand talk radio or radio commercials to the point that they actually drive me insane.

9. 90% of the music on my iPod was recorded before I was born. (Shut up, Jared.)

10. I believe in the Dumbing Down of America. (Source: this crazy show we’re watching, Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader? omg)

Okay, I’m done, happy now? lol

Found via a.k.a. Glasshoppah… Not sure what I think of it yet, but here it is. :)

You are an Artist
# Your appreciation of beauty, ability to think abstractly, and innovativeness make you an ARTIST.
# Never one to be tied to a particular way of doing things, you let your imagination guide you in discovering different possibilities.
# You would rather seek out new experiences than stick to your everyday habits, taking in as much of the world as possible.
# Your eye for beauty and your willingness to consider different perspectives make your creative efforts interesting—even though you may not realize this yourself.
# You prefer to think about things before voicing your opinion, considering a wide, diverse range of options.
# While there are forms and styles that you prefer, you tend to keep an open mind when it comes to your artistic preferences.
# You are curious about things, interested in the “why” more than the “how.”
# You have an active imagination that leads you express yourself in a distinct way.
# You’re not afraid to let your emotions guide you, and you’re generally considerate of others’ feelings as well.
# You prefer to have time to plan for things, feeling better with a schedule than with keeping plans up in the air until the last minute.
# You do your own thing when it comes to clothing, guided more by practical concerns than by other people’s notions of style.
# Generally, you believe that you control your life, and that external forces only play a limited role in determining what happens to you.

You are Advocating
# Being social, empathic, and understanding makes you ADVOCATING.
# Some people find being around others exhausting—but not you! You are energized by spending time with friends, and you are good at meeting new people.
# The world outside your window energizes you, and you can’t help but be involved in it.
# One of the reasons you enjoy conversation as much as you do is that you often learn about yourself while talking things out with a friend; you realize things about your own beliefs while discussing them with others.
# One thing that makes you a people person is your insight into what others are thinking and feeling. This ability allows you to be happy for others, and to commiserate when something has gone wrong for them.
# You are highly compassionate, and being conscious of how things affect those close to you leaves you cautious about trusting others too hastily.
# Despite these reservations, you are open-minded when it comes to your worldview; you don’t look to impose your ways on others.
# Your sensitivity towards others’ plights contributes to an understanding—both intellectual and emotional—of many different perspectives.
# As someone who understands the complexities of the world around you, you are reluctant to pass judgments.

I was singled out by Nicole:

You get one wish of anything, what would you ask for?
I want to be debt-free for the rest of my life. Forever. Always. You get it.

What animal would you be?
Um… a ring-tailed lemur. :)

Something you want to do in your life:
Actually finish this novel for Nanowrimo

One time there were these Ninjas… (finish the statement)
And they… what kind of a question is this? I dunno. All my creativity is spent today. I’m in the red.

One song you could listen to over and over again.
MercyMe’s Spoken For, muahahahaha. I dunno, there are so many I love, really.

Coke or Pepsi?
Neither. :P I know, I’m so much fun today.

Something you currently desire:
Sleep. Lots of sleep. Peace and quiet. Lots of peace and quiet.

What’s a “mastoid”? (Take a guess. No peeking in a dictionary.)
And another strange question. I thought this thing was supposed to be about me? Well, “mastoid”? You’re too young to know.

One good deed you’ve done lately:
It’s not like I write these things down. Talking/writing about it cancels out the good. :P Or, at least the humility.

A funny moment in your life:
The time my mom got busted by the Secret Service. Hehe, not sure why I thought of that…

Next 5 victims:
I really don’t know. I think I’ve already called everyone out at least once. And most of you don’t even acknowledge it anyway. ;-) So, you can choose if you want to be victimized…

Sara has tagged me to do this!

7 things I plan to do before I leave this world:
- be a mom again and eventually a grandma
- go to Mexico & see ancestral places, etc.
- travel Europe
- write a book, or two
- sky dive
- scuba dive
- learn a second language, Hawaiian would be nifty. Because, you know, then I could yell at people and not a soul would have the slightest clue what I was saying. ;-)

7 things I can do:
- play the piano
- play the clarinet
- play the flute (let me note that both the clarinet and the flute would require some kick butt refreshing, I don’t even own a flute)
- drive a stick shift
- drive a 15 passenger van (yeah, buddy, believe it or not)
- make kick ass candles ;-)
- take some halfway decent photographs

7 things I cannot do:
- dance
- sing
- play by ear (also have a very hard time memorizing music)
- keep houseplants alive very long
- keep outdoor plants alive very long
- understand why Elijah has to get crabby each and every time we go to Ryan’s Steakhouse or Warehouse BBQ no matter how good of a mood he is when we step foot in
- figure out this sales tax crap

7 things that attract me to the opposite sex:
- his eyes
- his moral stances
- his unchangeable attitude
- his honesty
- his faithfulness
- his lips
- his hands

7 things I say most often:
- whatever
- noooooooooooooooooooooo! Elijah, stop coloring on your face! Crayons go on paper! Not your ears!
- whoohoo
- can you hear me now?
