My Complaint: We found this website from ads or search at the end of May, and purchased 2 $100 giftcards of red Lobster restaurant for total of $180 among some other cards. The 10% discount is very normal and website looks legit. We verified the cards once received them in email on June 3rd. These two cards did have the $100 in each, although two YogurtLand cards had zero amounts. Good that we checked.
However last Sunday at the restaurant we were told that the two cards had zero $ and were closed. We called red Lobster gift card service line and learned that the two cards were used in June shortly after we purchased them in Florida!!!
We never traveled to Florida in this year. Thought the cardcash company?s server might?ve been hacked cause those were electronic cards. Upon contacting them we were told they are a gift card ?market place? and they purchase used card!
1. Their website doesn?t show any hints or warnings that customers are purchasing used cards that previous owner still have access! I?d expect a much deeper discount for that risk! I have screenshots before they might change their front page.
2. The e-card we received had no wording that they are used ones and we need to use it within ?45 days of protection ?. Instead it has bold text at bottom saying ?Lifetime buyer protection guarantee on new eGift Cards?!!! on their website.
3. They insist it is our fault that we didn?t try to use them and file the claim within 45 days. Why would do that with lifetime protection, and we?ve already checked the balance once we received those?
Their site intended to hide the fact that some other people possess the cards especially for electronic ones, and cheat on confusing wording. We demand our money back.

My Demand: Refund money and give future customers a more clear statement if they are selling used GC!
