Booked trip to Dominican Republic. Arrived and told hotel (Viva Wyndham) full and overbooked. Sent to inferior hotel (Be Live Canoa). All Wyndham would offer is a seven day voucher for future stay (why would we do this; come back to a hotel that messed up reservations and of course have to pay for a plane on top of that). Called expedia. Waited on phone for hours. Disconnected twice. People who answered can’t help, first transferred to supervisor then finally a manager. She tried calling Wyndham, apparently got nowhere. The manager did offer to reimburse one night that she said is only $78! and give a voucher for $100 when we book next trip on expedia. Called again another day as again upset by lack of quality at Be Live. Told that there is nothing else they can do.
