I found a listing on an online job board for a 20/hour remote position. After applying I heard back within a day, and what I am 90 percent sure was a robot conducted a "job interview." Then, the next day, without being given any notice of being accepted for the job, I was invited to create an account with their "back end system" and was told to take the initial steps of employment- including filling out a direct deposit form. When I emailed them stating I was not comfortable giving out this information and would be requesting a paper check, they said this was not possible through their bank due to "security reasons".
