Complaint: On June 21 2003 I bought a brand new 2003 dodge 3500 from Maroone. Exactly one month later I brought it back to the Maroone service dept. and had an oil change. Three days later while driving down the turnpike the oil plug came off and every drop of oil spilled out. At that time it was towed to the nearest dealership which was Arrigo Dodge of West Palm Beach. Arrigo the next morning called me and told about the problem and said either the engine’s toast or that it has been definitely comprimised and that there is no way of telling how long it will last. I told them that I just had an oil change. They asked if it was done at the dealer I bought it from I replied yes. At that time they told me that Maroone was at fault and to demand a new car. Then told me that they wouldn’t work on it due to liability issues leave it to Maroone. I went to Maroone and talked to the general manager. She acknowledged her dealership’s negligence and said the car sound fine. I told her what Arrigo Dodge said. At that time she offered me all kinds of stuff but I had to take the truck now and in a couple of days her corperate office would get it to me. When I told her I was not going to take the truck until I had these offers in writing she told me I wasn’t going to get anything then basicaly kicked me out. At that time I told her I am only accepting a new truck or nothing she refused. Then I left. Since then I have filed a complaint with Chrysler. They told me the dealership should be calling me back in couple of days that was about a month ago. Now I have got an attorney but I still don’t have my truck.
