Complaint: On October 5, 2005 I called Mr. Bedliner after finding their ad on the internet for a spray in bedliner. They told me it would be $279 for the complete service and there was a lifetime warranty on the bedliner. On October 6, 2005, they came and picked the truck up, said they were taking it to their shop in Liberty Hill, TX and would deliver it by the afternoon, which they did and told us that after 24 hours, it would be fine to haul things and use as normal. At that time, the guy told me that there was a lifetime warranty on any damage to the bedliner as long as the bed wasn’t damaged underneath. A week later I was helping a friend move a couple of air conditioning units and when we slid the unit out of the bed of the truck the bed liner tore in quite a few places. That day I called Mr.Bedliner and left a message, they called me right back and told me they were in Dallas for the weekend and would be back the following Tuesday and for me to call back then. That Tuesday, (October 18, 2005), I called back and left a message for them to call me back, I didn’t get a response, so I continued to call and leave multiple message from different phone numbers and never got a return call, at one point the number was even disconnected. Finally on November 22, 2005 I sent an email to the ‘Contact Us’ section on their website, letting them know that I have tried numerous times to get in touch with them so they could just look at our truck and tell us if it was covered under warranty and hadn’t heard anything and that if I didn’t hear something by Monday, November 28, 2005 I was going to file a complaint. On November 28, 2005 I called them one last time and finally got an answer, an explained who I was and what the situation was and was told that the guy that made the decisions and would actually look at the truck wouldn’t be in until 10:30am and would give me a call back by lunch time that day. I never heard anything and again have called numerous times and have gotten no response. On the voicemail when I first called about getting the bedliner it said – this is Mr.Bedliner, leave a message – now it says nothing, doesn’t let you know the number, person or company you are calling, just goes to dead air and then beeps.
