I made a supposedly fully refundable hotel reservation and subsequently canceled it. Upon receiving my credit card bill I noticed a charge of $14.99. I contacted the company and was informed that this was a non-refundable service charge. The consumer is not made aware of this charge up front. You will only discover it after you make the reservation and scroll to the bottom of your reservation of cancellation email. One could, of course, contact the hotel directly and not incur this cost. It needs to be shown up front. This is clearly a scam. DO NOT USE www.reservations.com
