Solarstirlingplant.com sells plans for a solar stirling engine that they claim produces more power than standard photovoltaic cells. Upon recieving their plans, I knew that what they were claiming was not possible because they were using a parabolic dish, which would provide to much heat, as the parts are partly ABS plastic and would melt. Upon further reasearch, I found a website with the exact same plans given for free by the designer. Solar Stirling Power took his name off the plans and put their own on them. I contacted the rightful designer and he informed me that his plans are indeed copywrited. He also has video of the stirling engine he designed in actual use and it doesn’t generate the power claimed by Solar Stirling Plant. They scammed his free plans and are selling them for $49.00 through their website. They are also making false claims as to how much power the engine has.
