Complaint: My friends and I went to The Field resturant for brunch/ lunch. Our waitress even though it wasn’t busy took her own sweet time attending to our table she was too busy flirting with the male customers.My friend had to send her omolett back three times the cook kept forgetting ingredants. I had to send my eggs back once. I had the steak and eggs the worest cut of meat ever and my potatoes looked rotten. Then came when it was time to pay the check. I gave our waitress a 100.00 bill. She announced that she couldn’t take it because it didn’t have a line in it. I asked to see the manager she instead sent a big spanish male cook who said that he refused to take the 100.00. I smiled and said then how will you get paid since i have no other means to pay you. He left and sent the waitress back who said there was a bank down the street that she would vertify the bill and change it. I being quite annoyed suggeted she do whatever she had too. Since my bill was u.s. legal tender i refused to use any other means. After waiting about 15 minutes she came and announced it was real. I was about to pick up my change and just leave. My friend suggested i check it. The waitress had given me 34.00 on 34.00 meal out of 100.00 ( the fake 100). I had to find her and get the rest of my change. She apolozed but did not apologize for acussing me of being crook, nor did she offer to comp the meal.My friends and i were visiting from out of town , i am not sure if this type of treatment is reserved for out of towners or to discourage people of ethnic desent.
