I have been trying to get a smart junction box for 2007 Mercury Mountaineer for over 3 weeks now. I was given this number directly from ford due to the fact this part is obsolete (which will beanother complaint). I called the used parts factory and spoke with Will. He said that he would look into it and get back to me. He called me rather quickly stating he had a 2007 Mercury Mountaineer with the junction box still in the vehicle. I said ad long as it’s the same part number that Ford said it was then I want it. He said he would have it pulled out ASAP. I told him the severity of this because my vehicle is inoperable with out it. He assured me that he had it in his possession and he could have it to me by the following Tuesday. He asked me for a credit card number which I regretfully gave him. He called me back late Friday night and asked me for my cc again.I was concerned at this point but I was desperate to get this part. I waited until the following Friday to call back Will (3 days after I was supposed to receive it). I got a voice mail but did return me call. He seemed confused himself and wondered also why I did not get it. He then said he would check with the shipping department and call me right back. It is now Tuesday (5 days later), no return calls or emails that I sent never were responded to. I also was promised a tracking number the day I ordered it and that was never done either. I guess why would they since they never had one to send in the first place. A simple we made a mistake and we will refund your money would of been fine. They actually put me out of my vehicle for more then 10 longer since I had stopped looking. I am a single father of 2. I have had to rely on friends to get me places and for my kids as well. What a disgrace. I would think twice before giving them your cc . Request a tracking number and a phone number that you don’t get a voicemail every time you call them. No matter what time or day you call, you get a voicemail because they are “so busy”. No I don’t think so, its just them scanning calls and only calling back customers they can actually get money from. Again, a simple call back or email stating there was a problem with the part would of been understandable. You shouldn’t of ignored it like it never happened and just keep my money for doing nothing but causing my family and I more aggregation…. Very sad buisness ethics.
