The information Beware – Stay away from Truthfinder! I used Truthfinder to obtain a couple of reports. Both reports came back showing no criminal history. I later found out that one individual had a violent criminal history and served several decades in prison. Afterward, I was billed for searches that were not purchased. Numerous times, when I would search for a name, perhaps a sports or historical figure, results would include disguised links to Truthfinder. Clicking on the link would bring you to the Truthfinder site and I was automatically charged for a report, even though none was provided nor requested. Truthfinder was no help in getting this stopped. The charges were coming through iTunes. I eventually got the charges stopped by going through iTunes.
